On the occasion of the 58th birth anniversary of noted poet, educationist and pedagogue Pratima Parhi, the Pratima Fondation is announcing "Pratima Research Grant"; a small research grant for researchers and practitioners in the field of art, culture and alternative education. She always loved learners and wanted to help them in any manner she can. So here we are with this small step to fulfill her wishes.

The grant for research paper will be open for submission of application throughout the year. As part of this grant a sum of 3000 rupees will be given for the selected research paper. Along with a certificate will be issued and an edited book of all the research paper will be published internationally.

Those who are interested in research, which investigate unexplored areas and intend to create space for dialogue between theory and practice; offer new readings/frameworks; and use interdisciplinary approaches to create new conceptual ground can apply.

Proposals will be accepted from researchers and practitioners from all age groups across disciplines. You are eligible to apply if you are an Indian national.

You may choose to write your proposal in Odia, Hindi or English language. Pratima team would be happy to answer any questions regarding this programme. You can approach us (via Call/Whatsapp/Mail/DM) to discuss your ideas for suggestions and comments, before sending your final proposal.

The proposal must contain a synopsis of 250-500 words about the research to be taken up along with the curriculum vitae. While filling up the online form, some more details like Address, Mail Id, Mobile number will be needed for communication.

Your proposal will be assessed with the help of an expert committee. After selection thirty percent of the grant amount will be given and the rest amount after the submission of the paper. The final paper should not be less than 3,000 words and the duration will be two months. Between selection and submission, the expert team will be in touch with you for the development of the paper.
